Greetings Tiny Home Builders and Friends!

.

.

Help us raise the funds to build more tiny homes.

There are 3 ways you can help right now

.

1. Sound Foundations NW is hosting a fundraiser showing of Trickle Down Town at Ark Lodge Cinemas to raise money for building tiny homes at Camp Second Chance. Our goal for 2019 is to replace the remaining 18-20 tents with tiny homes. Get your tickets here. We hope you can be part of the event.

2. If you are unable to attend but would still like to be part of this incredible project we have a Gofundme were you can easily contribute. Remember, 100% of your donation goes to materials. We have no paid staff.

3. If you are unable to donate, please share these events with your network. Email, Facebook, clubs, churches, etc. The more folks that know about our efforts the closer we will get to our goals. Thank you for your support.

This Saturday is maintenance day in the build tent

Sign up here.

Last week we completed 2 more homes and are working on the moving system that will allow us to place the homes on site. In the meantime we are having a maintenance day before we start on the next tiny homes. Mark will have small projects for volunteers to make the work tent more functional. Thank you to all who contribute and participate in this community fueled project. We are making a difference in people’s lives and at the same time are changing the conversations and expectations. I like to say that we challenge the world with our actions, not our opinions.

Greetings Tiny Home Builders and Friends!

Next build day:  Saturday, February 16th – 9am to 5pm

(Weather Permitting)

This Saturday we are doing lots of trimming, priming and painting. The work tent is heated so come for a fun work day. Sign up early as slots fill up fast on the build team. I will update all who signed up regarding the possibility of canceling due to weather, but as of this morning the long range forecast looks ok with mostly rain and little snow on the way.

Help us fund the next batch of homes!

Sound Foundations NW is hosting a showing of ‘Trickle Down Town‘ at Ark Lodge Cinemas to raise money for building tiny homes at Camp Second Chance. Our goal for 2019 is to replace the remaining 18 tents with tiny homes. Get your tickets here. We hope you can be part of the event.
If you are unable to attend but would still like to be part of this incredible project, please click on “Tickets” and you will be able to make donation in the amount of your choice.

Trickle Down Town is new thought-provoking documentary about the homeless crisis in Seattle. Deftly interweaving in-depth stories of community members who are living the crisis on the streets with interviews of political leaders and community advocates, vivid images of the current state of affairs and a poignant examination of the roots of homelessness in the region, the film paints a picture of a city struggling to come to grips with an unprecedented emergency, and finds a few glimmers of hope.
